We took two teams to the University of Westminster for the climax of our debating programme, the Debate Mate cup competition. This was a full day of debating where our students competed against teams from all across London. The day comprised of one prepared and two unprepared debates where students had just ten minutes to prepare their speeches on a surprise motion.

We were so proud of our debaters who won two of the debates, both of which were unprepared motions demonstrating that our students are skilled debaters who can really think on their feet. Well done to all students involved!
