Year 7 Thematic Learning

We had some lovely feedback from our visitors to Thematic Learning this week which included the below from Councillor Alison Moore:

‘It was a pleasure, as always. The students were as engaged, challenging and thoughtful as ever and I always go away with things to think about. Thank you for organising it and it would be good to have feedback on the students ideas on traffic and road safety.’

This week the year 7s conducted a survey of the local area which included interviewing passers by. The rain held off and the students got a lot out of the opportunity and got some very interesting responses. These will contribute towards their final piece of work on this unit – a speech to the class – about what they would like to change in the local area.
