Barnet Dance Champions

Archer Academy students from years 10 & 11 represented the school at the annual Barnet Dance Competition on Thursday 23rd January. The competition this year was stronger than ever but the students’ performance was beyond exceptional and the team were outstanding from start to finish. They were awarded first place, taking home the gold medals for the fourth year in a row!

During the judges feedback, they commented on being ‘transfixed’ all of the way through, so much so that they hadn’t been able to look down to write any comments. Another judge couldn’t believe the team were only secondary school age, and commented that they were of a professional standard. They will now go on to fly the flag for East Finchley and represent Barnet at the London finals in March.
