Double gold for the Archer Academy at the Barnet Dance Competition

On January 20th we travelled to East Barnet School to take part in the Barnet Dance Competition.  This year we entered two dance groups; a junior group made up of students from the lower school, and a senior group made up of year 10 students from the upper school.  Both groups performed very different pieces, one a powerful and forceful dance about catching a light and the other an emotional dance about connections and relationships.  Both groups faced tough competition from other schools and were ecstatic to win first place in both categories!  Now we’re really looking forward to representing Barnet at the London Schools’ Dance Competition in March and are continuing to work hard on our routines to give the best possible performance at the Copper Box Arena at the Olympic Park.
