Archer Players Success at Drama Festival

Well done to our fabulous drama teams, both scooping silver medals in the Welwyn Garden City Youth Drama Festival last week.  The adjudicator Alan Haslett said of the Junior team’s performance that they were “bursting with energy, had a lovely physicality” and that the acting was “always convincing and belied the ages of the younger actors in this pacy, punchy production”. And of the Senior team’s performace that their “accomplished piece, played with our emotions, and took us from happy to sad to funny, all of which could be done because of the excellent standard of acting”.

The Junior team came 2nd out of 8 teams and Seniors 2nd out of 13 teams. Excellent news and congratulations to all our performers and of course the amazing staff.
