Spring term 2015

You have impressed your English teachers throughout last term with some of your reading choices. As Year 8 continues you will be reading even more challenging plays, novels and poems during curriculum time. The reading list below should help to continue to support you with the growing level of academic challenge in English. However, more importantly they are simply excellent reads which we hope you will enjoy.

Try to read as many of the titles listed below as you can. If you read a book and write a detailed review on it, you will be rewarded with 10 house points. Please hand all completed reviews to your English teacher. Below are some suggestions which this term have been organised by genre.  These include titles for a range of reading abilities, so there is something for everyone.

Have fun and keep reading!

Miss Victor.
