An Enchanting Evening
The Cultural Society were enchanted by Matthew Bourne’s production of Cinderella at Sadler’s Wells. Set during the 1940s blitz in London, the ballroom scene takes place at the famous Café de Paris in Piccadilly and Bourne was also influenced by his love of classic films such as A Matter Of Life and Death and Brief Encounter when creating the ballet.
