Make Beaumont Brilliant/Unicorn Girl Launch

We are so grateful to everyone who is supporting the campaign to Make Beaumont Brilliant and build our library at Upper School. We officially launched the project on Friday 16th November with some star power from Archer parent, actor Steve McFadden and author Anne-Marie Conway, who has pledged to give the profits from her latest novel, Unicorn Girl to the school. Anne-Marie ran a series of Year 7 workshops throughout the day for students and then joined us for our evening reception at Upper school to launch Unicorn Girl in style and sign books for parents, students and members of the local community. Thank you so much to the amazing volunteers from our Friends Association for treating everyone to delicious canapés, drinks and unicorn decorations.

Headteacher, Lucy Harrison said: ‘Building our new library and study centre for our Upper school students is incredibly important to me. It means a great deal that one of our pioneer parents, Anne-Marie Conway has so generously agreed to donate the profits from her latest book Unicorn Girl to help with the project. It was wonderful to see so many parents as well as members of the local community at our official launch of Make Beaumont Brilliant.’
