Real Life Adventurers

Year 7 experienced a thrilling afternoon with two guest speakers coming in and talking to the students about the importance of going outside your comfort zone. This links to Year 7’s current unit in Thematic Learning which is all about survival on a desert island.

Jack Cooper shared with students his experiences of completing various adventures including the Ironman Triathlon.

Sam Wilson spoke about living in the Amazon Rainforest and working as a volunteer teacher in a remote community in Guyana. Well done year 7 for engaging throughout and asking some superb questions.
